Different products, same values. Since 1992 we have been producing natural products that, in our opinion, deserve this term. With 100% natural and sustainable raw materials. Today there are many natural products to buy that we would not describe as such. But instead of writing about other people's products, we would rather tell you something about our core values. This is how we produce our Swiss natural products.

Who deserve the name
We have been producing our marmot herbal ointments in our production facilities in Frutigen in the Bernese Oberland since 1992. We do this with passion and by hand and use many local raw materials. There is a lot of Switzerland in our natural products.
100% natural
Good for you & good for the environment
You don't need to worry about harmful raw materials. In our natural products you will only find raw materials that are 100% natural and sustainable. If it's not good for the environment, it's not good for you either.
We also avoid using questionable raw materials that are natural. For example, you won't find any palm oil or ingredients made from petroleum.
Local raw materials
Good things are so close
Whenever possible, we use local raw materials for our natural products. Good things are so close, so why look far away?
Instead of aloe vera, we use Swiss mountain houseleek. Instead of shea butter or coconut oil, we use Swiss beeswax. Instead of palm oil, we use Swiss rapeseed oil.
Our wild animal fats come exclusively from Swiss hunting. We produce extracts from various plants and raw materials ourselves. For example, edelweiss, mountain houseleek, marigold or mallow extract. We collect spruce resin in our forests in the Bernese Oberland.
Without additives
No chemicals - nothing artificial
We have been producing our marmot herbal ointments without artificial preservatives, colors or fragrances since 1992. And we have stuck to that.
Even the founder Andreas Schmid did not want to have any preservatives in it, despite all the comments like "it doesn't work", "you can forget about it", "it won't last". Stubborn and uncompromising. We inherited that. And we celebrate it! 😊
Of course, all of our newer natural products are also free of artificial additives.

Do-it-yourselfers, not dealers
We never tire of emphasizing this. We make our natural products by hand. We are not traders, but manufacturers. Our products rattle and smell of herbs.
This is the only way we have full control over the entire processing. We decide on the raw materials, the origin, changes and improvements. This way we can be sure that the natural products are created exactly according to our values.
