WHERE DOES THE ESSENTIAL STONE PINE OIL COME FROM?
The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the needles of the stone pine tree. The Sstone pine is affectionately known as the "Queen of the Alps" - and rightly so.
It is the only tree that grows at an altitude of up to 2500m. In these altitudes, the stone pine defies wind and weather and endures extreme temperature fluctuations. This makes it one of the most resilient trees in the mountains.
Perhaps you have also heard the names Arolla pine or Pinus Cembra. This is what the Swiss stone pine is also called.

WHAT ARE THE PROPERTIES OF STONE PINE ESSENTIAL OIL?

How does stone pine oil smell?
The scent of essential stone pine oil is woody, resinous, fresh, and pure.
WHAT EXACTLY IS AN ESSENTIAL OIL?
Essential oils are volatile, fat-soluble, chemical multi-substance mixtures and contain a very high number of chemical compounds. Each essential oil has its own character and thus its own area of application. Essential oils are formed by the plant in oil glands. Depending on the plant species, these are found in the leaves, flowers, seeds, fruit peels, roots, but also in resins, barks or wood. Essential oils are the fragrance and communication substances of a plant.
For body, mind and soul
In aromatherapy and natural medicine, 100% natural essential oils have found a special place. They are good for body, mind and soul. Depending on the area of application, various essential oils are used. It is best to consult specialist literature or ask your therapist, chemist or pharmacist for the use of essential oils.
Less is more
Essential oils are very concentrated. A few drops are enough to achieve the desired effect. They should not be applied undiluted to the skin.

How to use essential stone pine oil
APPLICATION TIPS
The easiest way is to add 5 to 10 drops directly to your fragrance stone, fragrance lamp, or aroma diffuser and enjoy the woody, resinous, fresh forest scent.
But it would be a shame to limit yourself to that. Your oil can do much more.
IN THE BEDROOM
Take a deep breath and sleep like a log. Place two to three drops on a tissue and lay it next to your pillow.
ADDITIONAL APPLICATION TIPS
🛁 In the bath water
Make your own bath additive:
Mix 8 - 10 drops of your Swiss stone pine oil with 1 tablespoon of cream or honey and add it to the running bath water.
Cream or honey serve as natural emulsifiers. They bind the essential oil and ensure an even distribution in the bath water. Perfect for a soothing bath in wet and cold weather or after sports.
💦 In the sauna
Sauna is good for body and soul - especially in the cold season. A few drops in your sauna infusion enhance the beneficial effect of the heat.
As a room spray
Alternatively, use our room spray. The application couldn't be simpler. Spray a few times in your bedroom, living room or office.
