Can I slice vegetables with the cheese slicer?

Clearly: Yes and no 😊

Basically, the cheese slicer is designed to cut hard cheese into wafer-thin slices. We don't recommend using the cheese slicer for cutting vegetables. This is mainly because the vegetables are softer and can break or get stuck, for example . This means that you can cut yourself with an unexpected movement. And of course we don't want that. But it's by no means the case that the cheese slicer can't handle vegetables. The Victorinox blade is very sharp and slices vegetables without any problems. If you're brave, you can give it a try. Just be careful with your fingers.
