Swiss raw materials
pure nature
We make our deodorant creams exclusively from natural, sustainable and harmless ingredients. Whenever possible, we use Swiss raw materials such as Bernese Oberland beeswax, marigold and sunflower oil instead of shea butter, coconut oil or aloe vera.
The organic sunflower oil in our deodorant creams contains a high vitamin E content. Vitamin E strengthens the skin barrier and preserves it naturally.
Bernese Oberland beeswax and wool fat , also known as wool wax or lanolin, serve as a wonderful base for our deodorant creams. Our specially grown marigolds care for and soothe the skin and relieve razor burn.
You can find out how the active ingredients baking soda, corn starch, zinc oxide and healing clay work below.
Our deodorant creams do not contain any artificial preservatives, fragrances or colorants. We also do not use aluminum salts, alcohol, palm oil, microplastics or paraffins.
This is how puralpina deodorant cream works
We all know it: you come home from exercise or sit in the office all day and suddenly an unpleasant smell hits your nose. But did you know that fresh sweat is actually odorless? It only starts to smell unpleasant when the bacteria on our skin break down the sweat.
And that's exactly where our deodorant cream comes in. With the bacteria. Our deodorant cream makes life difficult for the bacteria . It contains zinc oxide, baking soda, healing clay and corn starch, among other things.
Zinc oxide is a natural powder made of zinc and oxygen. It has an antibacterial and odor-neutralizing effect. It inhibits bacterial growth and also relieves razor burn.
Sodium bicarbonate, also known as sodium bicarbonate, has an alkaline effect and neutralizes odors. By changing the pH value, it inhibits the activity of odor-producing bacteria. It absorbs moisture and binds sweat. These properties are supported by healing clay and corn starch .
Our deodorant cream combats unpleasant body odor without suppressing natural sweating. The pores are not closed and the natural regulating skin function is maintained.

How to use the deodorant cream correctly
Tips & Tricks
Apply our 100% natural deodorant cream directly to your armpits with your fingers and rub it in briefly. It's best to do this after a refreshing shower or bath.
The deodorant creams are very effective. A small fingertip per armpit is enough to protect you from unpleasant sweat odor all day long.
The advantages of our deodorant cream
A deodorant cream offers many advantages over other forms of deodorant. Deodorant creams allow for precise application, as you can apply the desired amount directly and control exactly where the deodorant is applied. This means the creams are very economical. If used daily, a 50ml can lasts up to 5 months.
Another advantage is the long-lasting protection they offer without clogging your pores. The creamy texture allows the active ingredients to stay on the skin longer and continue to work. You sweat, but you don't stink.
The deodorant cream protects you from sweat odor for up to 24 hours . Deodorant creams are well tolerated, especially by people with sensitive or dry skin. The moisturizing ingredients such as marigold oil protect your skin from drying out. Our deodorant creams leave a well-cared-for, pleasant feeling on your skin.
Another plus point is the packaging. We fill them in recyclable or reusable aluminum cans, which helps reduce plastic waste. We don't need any propellants in our packaging.
Whether you ultimately decide on a spray deodorant, a roll-on, a stick or a cream is a matter of taste.

Our story
How it all began
Our company history began over 30 years ago in Frutigen. Andreas Schmid, the founder of puralpina, made the first marmot herbal ointments in a converted cowshed in 1992.
Over the years, the company has continued to develop and the Murmeli herbal ointment has been joined by genuine Swiss natural cosmetics for the care of hands, feet and lips. And of course, our sustainable deodorant cream.

Natural cosmetics for you
In our factory in Frutigen, we produce Alpine natural cosmetics to care for your hands, feet, skin and lips in addition to deodorant creams.
No more rough hands, dry lips, cracked skin and chapped skin. Our natural products care for your skin optimally without harmful or questionable ingredients. They are 100% natural and contain no artificial additives, preservatives, colors or fragrances, microplastics, paraffins or palm oil. With us you get pure nature without compromise.

Do you have a question?
Here you will find further answers to frequently asked questions about our deodorant creams. Can't find the answer you are looking for? Then contact us directly.
I shower every day, why should I still use deodorant?
Showering daily does help to eliminate the smell of sweat. But it does not protect you from new unpleasant body odor that can develop during the day. Our deodorant ensures that you feel fresh all day long, even in particularly stressful situations. Did you know that you sweat at night too? If you use your deodorant in the evening, you will start the day feeling fresher.
Guarantee - What do I do if I am dissatisfied with the product?
Get in touch with us. We stand behind our products. If you are not satisfied with our deodorant cream or our deodorant stick, you will receive the full purchase price back.
Do I have to store the deodorant in the refrigerator?
No, that is not necessary. You can store your deodorant at room temperature.
Are your deodorants vegan?
No, our deodorants are not vegan. They contain, among other things, beeswax and wool fat. We prefer to use regional raw materials instead of ingredients such as coconut oil, shea butter or aloe vera, which have to be transported over long distances. This keeps the distances shorter and allows us to consider local suppliers. This also helps the environment.
I sweat a lot, is your deodorant good for me?
If you sweat a lot, our deodorant is a good choice for you. Whether as a stick or cream, our deodorant helps you prevent the unpleasant smell without suppressing natural sweating.
We deliberately avoid aluminum because we don't want to prevent your body from sweating - an important function for regulating body temperature. Instead, we use natural ingredients such as baking soda, zinc oxide and healing clay, which neutralize acids and fight bacteria that are responsible for the unpleasant smell.
So you will continue to sweat, but the deodorant will ensure that it doesn't smell unpleasant. For optimal protection, it's best to apply the deodorant to dry skin immediately after showering or bathing.
Does the deodorant leave stains?
It's not easy to give a definitive answer to this question. Each of us sweats at different rates, and the composition of our sweat and the quality of our clothing also play a role in whether or not stains form.
Deodorant cream or deodorant stick, which product is better?
For both variants, we only use natural, sustainable and harmless raw materials. You will not find any artificial preservatives, fragrances or colorants in either the deodorant cream or the deodorant stick. There is also no alcohol, palm oil, microplastics or paraffins. Both products are aluminum-free.
Both work on the same principle: they inhibit bacterial growth and reliably protect against unpleasant body odor. Whether you choose the stick or the cream depends entirely on your preferences. While you apply the deodorant cream with your fingers like an ointment, you simply glide the stick over your skin.
Are the deodorants also suitable for teenagers?
Of course – our deodorant creams and deodorant sticks are also ideal for teenagers. They are very well tolerated, reliably protect against unpleasant body odor and are free of synthetic preservatives, fragrances and dyes. Especially during puberty, when hormonal changes affect sweat production, our deodorants offer reliable protection for up to 24 hours.
I have sensitive skin. Which deodorant is right for me?
Our deodorant creams and deodorant sticks are very well tolerated. They are 100% natural and contain no artificial fragrances, dyes, or preservatives. We use natural, organic essential oils for their subtle scent.
If you have very sensitive skin, we recommend our fragrance-free "Nature" version. For this reason, we omit the natural scent of essential oils. You can get Deodorant Nature as a stick or in two sizes as a cream.

Deodorant or antiperspirant?
In our everyday language, there is no distinction between them. But there is a significant difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant.
An antiperspirant is intended to inhibit local sweat formation. By clogging the pores with aluminum salts, the sweat is prevented from emerging on the surface of the skin.
The deodorant, on the other hand, combats the bad smell of sweat as soon as it occurs. Deodorants often do not contain aluminum salts, but rather antibacterial substances and fragrances that inhibit the formation of sweat odor. Unpleasant smells only arise when bacteria break down the sweat on our skin. This is exactly where our deodorants come in. They contain zinc oxide, baking soda, healing clay and corn starch. These active ingredients make life difficult for the bacteria.
