About Jonathan Schmid

Mountain runner Jonathan Schmid grew up in the Bernese Oberland. He discovered his love of running
the trained baker and confectioner during his school days. A professional training plan at the age of 22 brought Jonathan's talent to light. The intensive training soon paid off and his victory at the Swiss Mountain Running Championships in 2017 enabled him to take part in the European and World Championships. Since then, he has been able to record several other victories and course records.
