Marmot herbal ointment

Since 1992, our marmot herbal ointments have provided beneficial relaxation.
It all started in a stable. Not next to the cows, of course. They had long since gone.

How it all began

Our company history began over 30 years ago in Frutigen. Andreas Schmid, the founder of puralpina, made the first marmot herbal ointments in a converted cowshed in 1992. Against the spirit of the times and against all resistance from experts, he did not want any preservatives or artificial additives in his herbal ointment. With his stubbornness, Andreas laid the foundation for our current values.

Andreas Schmid

Quote

"My stubbornness helped me to swim against the tide. I am proud that the key values from back then still form the basis of puralpina today - including the new natural products."

Puralpina today

2nd generation

Today, puralpina is run by the sons Silvan and Reto Schmid. The stubbornness has remained. The basic values of founder Andreas Schmid are still adopted without compromise for every new natural product .

In our factory in Frutigen we produce many Swiss natural products and now ship them all over the world.

The marmot herbal ointment has been joined by natural cosmetics for the care of hands, feet and lips. There is even a deodorant cream.

One thing remained unchanged – our values: 100% natural, no artificial additives, as many local raw materials as possible and Swiss craftsmanship.

These values are at the heart of every product. You should have effective natural products , but not have to worry about questionable ingredients.
